Moorefield Students 'Shop With A Cop'

Grade 6 students from Maryborough Public School in Moorefield had a chance to Shop With a Cop, and help out less fortunate people.

Young shoppers were divided into 12 teams, and students purchased as much food as they could without going over a $100 limit.

The Moorefield Optimist Club and other community groups donated $1,400 to the cause.

The students arrived at Drayton Foodmarket with lights and sirens going on several Wellington County OPP cruisers and Mapleton Fire Trucks.

Students learned to shop and budget, while supporting the Drayton Food Bank.
