$150K Funding For Goderich To Guelph Trail

The Ontario Trillium Foundation is providing funding for the Goderich to Guelph multi use Rail Trail.

A Capital Grant has been approved to encourage active residents.

The $150,000 grant will be spread over 12 months to construct the trail.

It's hoped that by providing the infrastructure for physical activity, it will encourage more active lifestyles.

It's expected to provide recreation for 10,000 people in the region.

New military crosswalk in Sarnia to be unveiled

As part of a partnership between the Sarnia Legion Branch 62 and City of Sarnia, an unveiling ceremony will be held at the corner of Christina Street and Wellington Street on Sunday, June 7, at 2 p.m.

Sarnia police said the investigation began on May 29 after the victim was allegedly attacked by acquaintances at a residence near Tashmoo Avenue and Christopher Drive at Aamjiwnaang First Nation.
