Durham Man Airlifted With Life Threatening Injuries

A 23-year-old Durham man has been airlifted to a London hospital with life threatening injuries following a crash in Howick Township.

The Ontario Provincial Police says Friday morning, a Ford pickup truck was travelling east on Howick-Turnberry Rd. when it struck a guardrail and entered a ditch, before rolling into a hydro pole.

The driver and lone occupant of the vehicle, 23-year-old William Hogg, was found ejected from the vehicle around 11am, and was taken to a local hospital before being airlifted to London.

Police have now reopened Howick Turnberry Rd. between McIntosh Line and Toll Gate Line.
