Goderich To Guelph Trail Gets Support From Huron EDB

The Huron County Economic Development Board continues to support the Goderich to Guelph Rail Trail.

The board has agreed to provide some level of funding, but wants to see metrics in place to measure the progress of the project.

Board Chair Jim Lynn says because they are spending taxpayer dollars, it's important that there be measurements in place to help the trail committee determine if it is reaching the goals it set.

If those goals are not being met, Lynn says there have to be some changes.

He remains confident the G-2-G Trail can be a valuable asset for residents of Huron County and attract visitors to the county.
