Clifford Family Health Team Gets Break On Clinic Rent

Minto won’t raise the rent on the Clifford Medical Centre for 2016.

Minto Treasurer Gord Duff says the Clifford Family Health Team has informed him that it cannot afford even a modest increase to its rent when its lease is up for renewal at the end of December.

He also recommended that the municipality not jeopardize the future of the medical clinic which is very important to the Clifford community.

Council decided to offer another five-year lease, but will revisit the rent after one year.
