The weather agency says snow squalls are developing in areas east of Lake Huron and are expected to continue into Saturday. Local snowfall accumulations could exceed 20 cm by late in the day Saturday.
Bursts of heavy snow and blowing snow are expected to cause very low visibility.
Drivers should prepare for quickly changing and deteriorating travel conditions.
People in southern Huron and Lambton counties are being told to limit their time outside.
