Wellington OPP Deem Sudden Death A Homicide

The Wellington County OPP says officers are now dealing with homicide investigation following a sudden death around 7am on Friday morning off Wellington Rd. 124 near Erin.

A forensic post mortem was conducted today (Saturday) in Toronto at the Centre for Forensic Science.

The victim is described as a white 65-year-old male, 5' 6" in height, heavier build, grey downward curving style mustache and grey over the collar length hair, wearing a dark hoodie and blue jeans.

Police say he does not live in southern Ontario and it is believe that he traveled from eastern Ontario sometime on Wednesday, December 16 and arrived in Erin sometime on Thursday, December 17, 2015.

Police have not released the cause of death or the identity of the victim pending notification of next of kin.
