Huron-Perth Health Alliance To Improve Imaging Services

The Huron-Perth Healthcare Alliance is part of a team that will look at improving Disagnostic Imaging services throughout the Southwest Local Health Integrated Network.

Alliance CEO Andrew Williams explains terms of reference were approved at the last LHIN CEO meeting to look at things like wait times across the LHIN and access to service to ensure that the service is being delivered equitably throughout the region.

Williams adds the process will bring together a team of people from everyone who has an interest in Diagnostic Imaging including referring physicians to improve the access and quality of the service.

New military crosswalk in Sarnia to be unveiled

As part of a partnership between the Sarnia Legion Branch 62 and City of Sarnia, an unveiling ceremony will be held at the corner of Christina Street and Wellington Street on Sunday, June 7, at 2 p.m.

Two men arrested in Tashmoo Ave. standoff

Sarnia police said the investigation began on May 29 after the victim was allegedly attacked by acquaintances at a residence near Tashmoo Avenue and Christopher Drive at Aamjiwnaang First Nation.
