Port Elgin Man In Crash On 401

A Port Elgin man faces charges after a crash on the 401 near Kingston.

The crash happened late yesterday afternoon between a Hyundai and Mercedes and shut down that section of the 401 for a couple of hours. Both drivers were treated for minor injuries.

OPP have charged the 28-year old Bruce County man and he faces charges including imparied driving and will appear in a court in Kingston in late January.

Sarnia police said the investigation began on May 29 after the victim was allegedly attacked by acquaintances at a residence near Tashmoo Avenue and Christopher Drive at Aamjiwnaang First Nation.
