Attack Beat Battalion To Win Three Straight

Petrus Palmu struck twice as the Owen Sound Attack doubled the North Bay Battalion 4-2 to extend their win streak to three games.

Matthew Struthers and Jacob Busch each scored and added an assist in the victory.

The Battalion opened the scoring early in the first with a goal by Kyle Potts. Matthew Struthers scored first for the Attack midway through the second period to even up the game. Petrus Palmu put Owen Sound up 2-1 with a power play goal at 17:27 of the second.

Jacob Busch found the back of the net next, assisted by Matthew Struthers and Justin Brack at 15:50 of the final frame. Petrus Palmu scored his second goal of the game on an empty net at 19:23 of the third.

Listowel native Daniel Dekoning made 33 saves in net for the Attack.

The Attack have won five of their last six games.
