Go Fund Me Account Set Up For Family Of Milverton Murder Victim

The trial for a man accused in the killing of 17-year-old Nicole Wagler in Milverton begins next week.

A Go Fund Me account has also been set up to help cover expenses for the victim's family so they can attend.

Michael Schweitzer was charged with first degree murder and attempted murder after Wagler was shot in December of 2012, and Tyler Baker was injured.

Kendra Breen has set up the fundraising page for Wagler's family as she says the trial could last up to six weeks. She says the money will help cover the cost of lost wages, travel, meals, and other expenses.

So far, over $1,400 has been raised toward a goal of $5,000.

"I am extremely happy with the donations we have received so far. It's nice to see, especially right after Christmas when funds are tight, that people are still willing to help out," says Breen.

Schweitzer will answer to the murder charges in court in Stratford starting Monday.
