Police Seek Information On Homicide Victim Found Near Erin

Wellington County OPP have released further information about a homicide victim found dead near Erin earlier this month.

The body of 65-year-old Frederick John Hatch was found at about 7am on December 17, east of the 10th line off Wellington Rd. 124.

Police believe he travelled from eastern Ontario Wednesday, December 16.

He was known to hitchhike and it is believed he travelled along Hwy. 7.

Police say he's about 5'6", with a heavier build, a grey downward curling mustache and grey shoulder length hair. He was wearing a dark coloured hoodie and jeans.

Sarnia police said the investigation began on May 29 after the victim was allegedly attacked by acquaintances at a residence near Tashmoo Avenue and Christopher Drive at Aamjiwnaang First Nation.
