Hanover Police Investigate Suspected Drug Overdose

Hanover police are investigating a suspected drug overdose that occurred on Friday.

Around 10:45am Friday morning, police were called to a residence in the 500-block on 12th St., for a 34-year-old man in medical distress.

The man was taken to Hanover District Hospital with no vital signs, but was resuscitated and transferred to Owen Sound. The man has since died in hospital.

The police are urging residents not to take illegal drugs, as you can never be sure what they're made of and what the effects could be on the body.
