Safety Is Key When Riding The Trails

The Ontario Federation of Snowmobile Clubs is driving home the message of safety when riding.

District 9 Manager Karen Buratynski has a few recommendations such as staying on the trail and not venturing off the beaten path.

Buratynski adds riding at the posted speed limit of 50 km an hour is very important.

She also recommends riding with a friend or in a group and mot riding alone.

Snowmobile safety boils down to making good choices before going out and when riding on the trails.
