Charges In Meaford Break-In Investigation

The OPP have charged three people in connection with a rash of break-ins in Meaford.

The break-ins happened through the month of December, up until January 13.

On January 22, police executed a search warrant and found stolen items in a home on Boucher Street East.

Now police have charged three people from Meaford.

Ryan Nicolas Oswald, 19, is charged with 10 counts of break and enter, 12 counts of possession of stolen property, possession of a prohibited weapon, and theft under $5,000. He has a bail hearing February 4.

Katlin Wayne Truen, 27, is charged with break and enter and possession of stolen property. Truen is in custody pending a bail hearing scheduled for today.

Alyssa Megan McDonald, 23, is charged with break and enter and possession of stolen property. She is scheduled to appear in court in Owen Sound on February 4.

The investigation is on-going.

Sarnia police said the investigation began on May 29 after the victim was allegedly attacked by acquaintances at a residence near Tashmoo Avenue and Christopher Drive at Aamjiwnaang First Nation.
