Coldest Night Fundraiser This Month

The Coldest Night of The Year fundraising takes place in Stratford this month to support services for at risk residents aged 16-24.

Stratford/Perth Shelterlink provides support to youth who are homeless or at risk of becoming homeless.

The program offers access to food, clothing, shelter, healthcare, education, employment, life skills, and counselling.

The Fundraiser on February 20th involves a 2 km, 5 km or 10 km walk around the Avon River in Stratford, followed by food and drinks at the Kiwanis Centre.

The Shelter program houses 150 youth every year in the county, and about 3,000 other youth and adults access other services.

Families, co-workers, sports teams, and community groups can enter a team, collect pledges, and take a winter night walk.
