Weather Warnings Dropped

Temperatures have already started to climb in midwestern Ontario.

As of 5:30am, temperatures range from 6 C in Kincardine to 9 C in Goderich along the lake shore. Temperatures are cooler further inland with marks of 2 C in Owen Sound and 4 C in the Walkerton and Hanover areas. Further south from there, temperatures are climbing from an early morning mark of 4 C in Wingham and east towards Listowel and Stratford.

The last freezing rain warning to be dropped was for the Bruce Peninsula.

Highs are expected to reach at least 10 C today but it could be warmer in some spots.

Daily highs will stay close to freezing through the rest of the week into the weekend before getting colder. The daily highs next week will range between -6 C and -8 C. We can expect some more snow in that stretch too.

Sarnia police said the investigation began on May 29 after the victim was allegedly attacked by acquaintances at a residence near Tashmoo Avenue and Christopher Drive at Aamjiwnaang First Nation.
