Threats Made At Grey County Grocery Story

A car parked in a fire zone at a grocery story in Georgian Bluffs sparked police intervention.

The incident happened at the No Frills store at Hwys. 6 and 21 on Sunday.

A store manager asked a man to move his parked vehicle from a fire zone.

After moving the vehicle, threats were made against some employees.

Police were called and ended up arresting a suspect at his home and seized several firearms.

A 54-year old Owen Sound man was charged with uttering death threats.

Two men arrested in Tashmoo Ave. standoff

Sarnia police said the investigation began on May 29 after the victim was allegedly attacked by acquaintances at a residence near Tashmoo Avenue and Christopher Drive at Aamjiwnaang First Nation.
