UPDATE: 88-Year-Old In London Hospital After Crash On Highway 6

A collision at 9:15 Tuesday morning north of Mount Forest on Highway 6 triggered a couple of road closures, and caused one serious injury.

OPP investigators confirm a Dodge Caravan travelling northbound collided with a southbound Toyota Corolla.    The 29-year-old female driver of the Toyota was uninjured, and the 88 year old female driver of the van was taken to hospital.   She was later transferred to hospital in London, and remains in critical condition.

Highway 6 was closed between Sligo Road and Grey Road 6, and Grey Road 109 from Grey Road 6 to Southgate Road 6 for several hours for the police investigation.

Two men arrested in Tashmoo Ave. standoff

Sarnia police said the investigation began on May 29 after the victim was allegedly attacked by acquaintances at a residence near Tashmoo Avenue and Christopher Drive at Aamjiwnaang First Nation.
