Club House in Palmerston Now Fully Accessible

The CNR Club House in Palmerston is now wheel chair accessible, including its washrooms. It's because of a $10,000 accessibility grant from Wellington County.

The Palmerston Lions Club spearheaded the work, which involved club members doing major upgrades to the entire building.   It's a popular meeting place for community groups including the Lions.

Minto Councillor Ron Elliott, who is also a Palmerston Lions Club member, says the upgrades would not have been possible, without the help of the county.
