Police Investigating Numerous Break-Ins

A report of suspicious activity has led Grey County OPP to the discovery of numerous break-ins north of Leith in the Municipality of Meaford.

Police believe the break-ins happened sometime between 10:30pm Tuesday night and 7:30am Wednesday morning. Two sets of footprints were found at the scene.

The properties targeted were on Rainbow Beach Dr. and are said to be mostly seasonal or temporary homes.  Police say that nine homes were targeted and two vehicles had also been broken into.

Stolen items include four televisions, a Wii gaming console and some loose change.

Police say they are looking for two unknown suspects.

Two men arrested in Tashmoo Ave. standoff

Sarnia police said the investigation began on May 29 after the victim was allegedly attacked by acquaintances at a residence near Tashmoo Avenue and Christopher Drive at Aamjiwnaang First Nation.
