Perth OPP Seek Dangerous Driver In Listowel

Police are searching for a reckless driver in Listowel.

Perth County OPP say around 1:30am on Saturday, officers were called after a black Dodge pick-up truck was seen doing doughnuts at the intersection of Wallace Ave. N and Main St.  The vehicle reportedly lost control and struck a parked vehicle as well as a light standard. The truck also nearly hit a pedestrian.

The driver fled the scene before officers arrived.

The truck is described as a black Dodge, possibly a 1500 series, with two CB whip antennae attached to the box, and extensive damaged to the front end.

Two men arrested in Tashmoo Ave. standoff

Sarnia police said the investigation began on May 29 after the victim was allegedly attacked by acquaintances at a residence near Tashmoo Avenue and Christopher Drive at Aamjiwnaang First Nation.
