Stolen Perth Vehicle Recovered In Owen Sound

A stolen Perth vehicle has been recovered in Owen Sound.

Just after 4 am this morning, Grey County OPP responded to a stolen vehicle report. A 2015 Chevrolet Silverado pick-up truck was taken from a driveway on Sideroad 4A in the Township of Chatsworth, shortly after 8:00 pm on Sunday night.

With the assistance of On-Star, police located the vehicle on 12th Street East in Owen Sound, where it was then towed to Chatsworth OPP Detachment for forensic investigation.

Sarnia police said the investigation began on May 29 after the victim was allegedly attacked by acquaintances at a residence near Tashmoo Avenue and Christopher Drive at Aamjiwnaang First Nation.
