Attack Promote Mental Health

The Owen Sound Attack are helping to raise awareness about the importance of mental health with its partnership with Canadian Mental Health Association.

A kiosk will be set up at tomorrow's game with information about mental health and promotional videos and public address announcements.

The partnership between CMHA and the OHL includes an initiative called Talk Today. It's goal is to provide mental health support to players and raise awareness with a key piece being to educate players and staff about mental health and suicide.

The Attack take on the Niagara Ice Dogs tomorrow starting at 7:00.

New military crosswalk in Sarnia to be unveiled

As part of a partnership between the Sarnia Legion Branch 62 and City of Sarnia, an unveiling ceremony will be held at the corner of Christina Street and Wellington Street on Sunday, June 7, at 2 p.m.

Two men arrested in Tashmoo Ave. standoff

Sarnia police said the investigation began on May 29 after the victim was allegedly attacked by acquaintances at a residence near Tashmoo Avenue and Christopher Drive at Aamjiwnaang First Nation.
