Air Ambulance Called To Crash Near Harriston

Wellington OPP say a 38-year old Hanover woman has been airlifted to a London hospital with serious injuries.

Police responded to a collision involving a transport truck and a Subaru at the intersection of Wellington Rd. 87 and School Rd. 7 in Minto at about 9am on Friday.

Karen White of Hanover was the lone occupant of the Subaru. She was taken to a local hospital before the air ambulance was called.

Kenneth Fry, 49, of Barrie was driving the transport and was not hurt.

The cause in under investigation, and the road is now open.

Sarnia police said the investigation began on May 29 after the victim was allegedly attacked by acquaintances at a residence near Tashmoo Avenue and Christopher Drive at Aamjiwnaang First Nation.
