Job Fair Comes To Owen Sound Thursday

Some good news for job seekers in and around Grey County.

A job fair takes place Thursday at the Heritage Place Mall in Owen Sound.

Heather Rourke, a job developer and marketing specialist with the YMCA Employment Services of Owen Sound, says they're holding their largest job fair ever in partnership with the City of Owen Sound and Grey County.

"We've all partnered together to bring this job fair to the region, it's largest one yet and we're excited," says Rourke.

Roughly 58 employers will be on hand accepting resumes from job hopefuls in all areas including labour, hospitality and more.

The job fair will be held in the food court area, near the old Zellers location at Heritage Place Mall and it runs from 2pm until 6pm.
