Charges In Motorcycle Storage Theft

Three people face charges and one person is still at large after an OPP investigation into the theft of motorcycles and parts from a storage facility near Stratford.

The original call came in January 30 when Perth County OPP was called about a break in. It was determined that $20,000 worth of goods were stolen. Through an investigation with the help of an OPP forensic team and the Waterloo Regional Police, it was determined that the theft happened sometime on January 11.

A search warrant was executed at a Kitchener address and resulted in the recovery of about half of the stolen property.

A 42-year old man and 40-year old woman, both of Kitchener, face charges. So does a 31-year old Stratford man.

One suspect, Jessica Ward, 26, of no fixed address, is still at large.

Police are asking anyone with information to call Perth County OPP or Crime Stoppers.
