Job Fair Added To Wellington North Showcase In Arthur

A job fair will be part of the Wellington North Showcase later this month in Arthur.

The annual showcase is a platform for business services, retailers, and organizations to make connections that benefit business and consumers.

The main feature is the trade show on Tuesday, March 22 at the Arthur Community Centre.

It's open to the public from 1pm to 8pm, and features displays and products from local businesses and organizations.

A job fair is going to be part of the Showcase this year.   It will be in the Upper Hall of the Arthur Community Centre from 2pm to 5pm that day.  Employers will be on hand to accept resumes and interview potential candidates.

Partners in the Wellington North Showcase include Saugeen Economic Development Corporation, TD Canada Trust, the Town of Minto, Ontario Ministry of Agriculture and Food and Ministry of Rural Affairs, as well as both the Arthur and Mount Forest Chambers of Commerce.

There is no charge for the trade show, but non-perishable donations to the Arthur Food Bank will be accepted at the door.

New military crosswalk in Sarnia to be unveiled

Two men arrested in Tashmoo Ave. standoff

Sarnia police said the investigation began on May 29 after the victim was allegedly attacked by acquaintances at a residence near Tashmoo Avenue and Christopher Drive at Aamjiwnaang First Nation.
