Kincardine Community Mail Boxes Entered

Some residents could have missing mail after a number of community mail boxes were pried open in the Kincardine area.

The OPP received a number of reports that the boxes were entered on Saugeen, James, Kingsway and St. Albert streets in Kincardine.

Boxes were also pried open on Penetangore Row and Boiler Beach Rd. in Huron Township.

It's unknown what, if anything was taken in the incidents which have occured over the past week.

However, the OPP are pointing out their website, www.opp.ca has tips and links to help protect you from fraud, scams and identity theft.

Residents should also report suspicious vehicles or persons to police immediately.

Sarnia police said the investigation began on May 29 after the victim was allegedly attacked by acquaintances at a residence near Tashmoo Avenue and Christopher Drive at Aamjiwnaang First Nation.
