W.D.H. Foundation Gets Another Five-Year Pledge

The Wingham and District Hospital Foundation has received another local donation toward the "Our Hospital, Our Future" campaign.

The owners of Eurohome Appliances and Kitchens have pledged $25,000 over the next five years.

In making their presentation, Henry and Marilyn van Heesch stated that it's important to support the success of the hospital that serves their family, employees and clients.

Eurohome Appliances and Kitchens has a showroom on County Rd. 86, just east of Wingham and the Euro-Parts warehouse in Belgrave.

The "Our Hospital, Our Future" campaign is committed to raising $4-million for a major redevelopment of the Wingham and District Hospital and the transformation of the former Wingham Public School into a one-stop community healthcare campus.

Campaign team leader Jenny Hogervorst said she is "grateful to have such a community-minded business make its home in Wingham and lead the way in this campaign."
