Municipality Of Bluewater Working On New Website

A new website for the Municipality of Bluewater should be activated by the end of next month.

Economic Development Officer Erin Samuell says the new site will contain more information, arranged in a way that makes it easily accessible for residents, visitors, and municipal employees.

She adds the site reflects the fact that people turn to the internet to consider vacation destinations, so the community is represented very well in photographs.

The new Municipality of Bluewater website should be ready by the end of April.

Samuell adds the new website will have a link to the mobile web site Explore Beyond the Shore.

That site includes self-directed tours, including the Bluewater Area Farm Tour; the C.A.N.O.E. Trail, which showcases many natural attractions and sporting activities; the Thrift Trip, which is a directory of antique, thrift, and flea markets in the area; and eventually a cultural trail.
