Single Vehicle Fatality On Bruce Rd. 3

One person is dead following a single-vehicle crash on Bruce County Rd. 3. in Carrick Township.

The OPP says just after 2pm on Friday, a beige coloured Nissan left the roadway and struck a house.

The lone driver was pronounced dead at the scene.

Bruce County Rd. 3 was closed between Sideroad 21 and 22 and Elora Rd. for several hours while emergency crews were at the scene. It has since been reopened.

Anyone who may have witnessed the crash is asked to call South Bruce OPP.

Sarnia police said the investigation began on May 29 after the victim was allegedly attacked by acquaintances at a residence near Tashmoo Avenue and Christopher Drive at Aamjiwnaang First Nation.
