Trio Arrested Inside Stratford Business

Three young adults from Stratford are facing charges after being caught at the scene of a reported break-in.

Police responded to a call around 10:30 Saturday night to a report of a break-in at Festival Furniture on Albert Street in Stratford.    During a search of the building, police found two 22-year-old males and a 20-year-old female.

All three were charged with criminal offences including Break and Enter, Possession of Break and Enter Instruments, Theft, Possession of Stolen Property, Mischief, Possession of a Prohibited Weapon, and numerous counts of breaching court-imposed conditions.

Two of the suspects were later released.   One of the young men appears in Bail Court in Stratford today.

Sarnia police said the investigation began on May 29 after the victim was allegedly attacked by acquaintances at a residence near Tashmoo Avenue and Christopher Drive at Aamjiwnaang First Nation.
