Woman Hospitalized After Crash In Chatsworth

A elderly woman has been taken to hospital following a single-vehicle collision in the Township of Chatsworth.

The Ontario Provincial Police say on Tuesday around 2pm, an 80-year-old woman was driving a 2014 Ford Fusion south on Hwy. 6 and 10, when she suffered a medical condition.

Her vehicle left the road and struck a grave marker at St. Paul’s Anglican Cemetery located on the east side of the highway.

The woman had to be taken to hospital by ambulance for treatment.

Sarnia police said the investigation began on May 29 after the victim was allegedly attacked by acquaintances at a residence near Tashmoo Avenue and Christopher Drive at Aamjiwnaang First Nation.
