Clinton And Hanover OLG Slots Will Dim The Lights Saturday

OLG Slots in Clinton and Hanover are taking part in the World Wildlife Fund's Earth Hour Saturday evening.

They will be turning down the lights to raise awareness of energy conservation and reducing the carbon footprint.

The OLG environmental initiative "Bet on Green" means staff will turn off or dim non essential lighting between 8:30pm and 9:30pm Saturday evening.

The OLG is also encouraging employees to join millions of people around the world by marking Earth Hour at home and turning off non essential energy using products.

"OLG has supported Earth Hour for six consecutive years, and it’s a great complement to our green efforts the other 364 days a year," says David Jewitt, general manager of OLG Slots at Clinton Raceway. "We’re proud to be an environmental champion in our community."
