West Grey Man Charged In Connection To 2015 Theft

A West Grey native has been charged in connection to a break and enter theft in 2015.

On March 15, Grey County OPP with assistance from the Grey County Crime Unit arrested a manin connection to a theft that occurred between spring and October of 2015. A Kioti tractor and Subaru UTV were stolen from a residence on Concession 12 in the Township of Chatsworth.

Andrew John Haug, 29, of the Municipality of West Grey, has been charged with several criminal offences, including:

- Break and enter - Two counts of theft over $5,000 - Theft under $5,000 - Two counts of possession of stolen property over $5,000 - Two counts of possession of stolen property under $5,000

Haug was held for a bail hearing March 16. He is due back in court on March 24 in Owen Sound.

Two men arrested in Tashmoo Ave. standoff

Sarnia police said the investigation began on May 29 after the victim was allegedly attacked by acquaintances at a residence near Tashmoo Avenue and Christopher Drive at Aamjiwnaang First Nation.
