Saugeen Shores Crash Sends Two To Hospital

South Bruce OPP continue to investigate a crash that sent two people to hospital.

The Ontario Provincial Police say on Saturday around 7:30pm, a blue Chevrolet Cavalier collided with a white Dodge Caravan at the intersection of Bruce County Rd. 40 and Hwy. 21.

The driver of the Cavalier has been taken to a local hospital to be treated for serious injuries.

A passenger from the Caravan suffered life threatening injuries in the crash and had been airlifted to a London hospital.

There's no word on the cause of the crash or whether any charges will be laid.

Sarnia police said the investigation began on May 29 after the victim was allegedly attacked by acquaintances at a residence near Tashmoo Avenue and Christopher Drive at Aamjiwnaang First Nation.
