Space Is Limited At Grey Bruce Catholic Schools

A preliminary accommodation report for catholic schools in Grey and Bruce counties shows little excess space throughout the region.

Education Director Jamie McKinnon says that means there should be no school closures in the near future.

In fact, the board may be looking to expand.

The report shows schools in Owen Sound and Kincardine are at capacity.

McKinnon says that means the board will have to come up with ways to address predicted future growth in those two regions.

McKinnon stresses the consultants report is very preliminary, and just one veiwpoint
