Canine Control Only for Wellington North Officer

Wellington North has a new dog catcher, but don’t call with complaints about skunks, raccoons or feral cats.

The new canine control officer will only deal with dogs.

It will be a change for local residents, as the former control officer also dealt with wildlife.

The cost for the new canine service will be $23,000.

Council earlier received a bid from the Guelph Humane Society for $35,000 a year.
