Huron County Museum Foundation A Possibility

Huron County officials are looking into setting up a foundation for the Huron County Museum and Historic Jail.

Huron County's Director of Cultural Services, Meighan Wark, has been given the go ahead by council to investigate the possibility. Wark says the foundation would be similar to the ones that exist for most hospitals in the county.

Part of the foundation's work in supporting the Museum would includes fund raising for various capital projects.

Wark is currently talking with other museums that have foundations.
