Attack Lose Game 3

Mitch Marner stuck twice an added an assist as the London Knights beat Owen Sound 5-1 to take a 2-1 series lead in Round One of the OHL playoffs.

The Attack's Damir Sharipzyanov scored late in the first to put Owen Sound up 1-0 going into the second.

Matthew Tkachuck scored his first of the game just under four minutes into the second. Aaron Berisha put the Knights up 2-1 with a goal at 16:18. Marner increased the Knights lead with his first goal of the game just over minute later.

Marner scored just 10 seconds into the third to put the Knights up 4-1. Tkachuck had his second of the game at 8:23.

Michael McNiven faced 41 shots for the Attack. Tyler Parsons made 38 saves for the Knights.

Game Four goes Wednesday night in Owen Sound.

Two men arrested in Tashmoo Ave. standoff

Sarnia police said the investigation began on May 29 after the victim was allegedly attacked by acquaintances at a residence near Tashmoo Avenue and Christopher Drive at Aamjiwnaang First Nation.
