Grey Bruce Health Services Receives Donation

Grey Bruce Health Services has received a 428 thousand dollar cheque from the hospital foundation.

The money comes from the annual proceeds from the foundation’s Caring for Tomorrow Endowment Fund for 2015.

The foundation's Willard VanderPloeg says peoples' donations through wills or life insurance are gifts that keep on giving. "A gift to endowment is something that gives again and again and again over many many years and that becomes quite powerful when you think about how many lives that will touch in the future," says VanderPloeg.

The funds go toward capital expenditures for things like diagnostic and medical equipment at Grey Bruce Health Services.
