Mapleton Offers Assistance With Ice Storm Debris

The Township of Mapleton is helping local homeowners who want to get rid of tree limbs that came down in the recent ice storm.

Branches that are piled neatly at the roadside will be picked up and chipped for municipal purposes.

The service will be offered in Drayton, Moorefield, Rothsay, Glen Allen, Alma, and Wallenstein from today through April 6th.

Brush drop off will also be permitted at the Moorefield Shop from today to April 8th.

The County of Wellington is also allowing free brush drop off at its Harriston, Riverstown, Belwood and Aberfoyle Waste Facilities until April 30th.

Sarnia police said the investigation began on May 29 after the victim was allegedly attacked by acquaintances at a residence near Tashmoo Avenue and Christopher Drive at Aamjiwnaang First Nation.
