Perth County OPP are investigating a number of thefts in Mitchell over the weekend.
Police say homeowners in the area of Henry St., St. Andrew St. and St. David St. found footprints around their doors, windows and vehicles.
Someone entered a Henry St. residence through an unlocked door and took an Apple I-pad 2. A vehicle was also entered, and money stolen.
Perth OPP urge people to lock and secure their properties, and to be conscious of suspicious people or activity.
