Dangerous Drugs Stolen From Mildmay Vet Clinic

Drugs, one dangerous to humans, have been stolen from the Mildmay Veterinary Clinic.

Among the stolen medication was a drug called Euthanyl, which is also known as pentobarvitol sodium. The drug is used for euthanasia of animals. Police are concerned that this dangerous drug may be taken and it is also fatal for humans.

The theft happened sometime between 3am and 5am Friday from the clinic on Hwy. 9 in Carrick Township.

The Mount Forest Identification Unit is assisting the South Bruce OPP with the investigation. The value of the stolen medication is estimated to be more than $6,000.
