The stairs leading down to the beach at the foot of Glass St. in Bayfield have been closed.
Bayfield Ward Councillor Bill Whetstone says safety is a prime concern for guests as well as residents and the Bluewater Building Department have determined that the stairs present a danger in their current condition.
The stairs have to remain closed to the public until they can be repaired or replaced.
