Under 16 OHL Gold Cup begins today.
There are 160 players competing including 126 who were selected in the 2016 OHL Priority Selection last month. It's a chance for prospects to show Hockey Canada scouts what they can do ahead of the National Under 17-camp.
Five prospects are Owen Sound Attack draft picks and all five will be playing in Game 2 of the tournament today.
Team OMHA White has four Attack draft picks on its roster including Aidan Dudas who was a first round pick. The other players are Jackson Doherty of the Hamilton Junior Bulldogs, Daylon Groulx of the Southern Tier Admirals and Mario Moro of the Hamilton Junior Bulldogs. Team GTHL Blue sees Jesse Tucker of the Toronto Titans face his potential teammates.
