Three Huron County Municipalities Continue Shared Services Talks

The mayors of Central Huron, Huron East and Bluewater met this week to discuss the potential of sharing some services.

Central Huron Mayor Jim Ginn says they discussed the possibility of using the model that North Huron and Morris-Turnberry used in their shared-services agreement.

The three mayors have agreed to have another meeting, with staff present, to explore all the benefits and options.

Ginn added at the next meeting they would take a more in-depth look at what services they might share, and which ones they would not.
