Two Pickups Stolen Together In North Perth

It's not often that the OPP get a report of two pickup trucks being stolen at the same time - but that's what happened early today in North Perth.

Police were called short after 4am this morning by a resident who reported two trucks had just been stolen from the property along Road 152, south of Palmerston. The keys had been left in both pickups.

The homeowner heard the trucks start up and saw them leave the property. The owner followed them south on Road 152, but lost sight of the trucks as they headed east on Perth Line 86.

Around 6am Thursday morning, one of the pickups was spotted heading east on Road 178 toward Palmerston.

The trucks are described as:

Black 2006 GMC 2500 diesel extended cab pickup truck. Ontario licence plate 7157FL attached. A silver cow push bar is attached to the front of the vehicle. A silver John Deere tool box was in the box of the truck.

Red 2003 Chevy Silverado extended cab pickup truck. Ontario licence plate 1551FL attached.

Anyone with information about the theft or whereabouts of these vehicles is asked to contact Perth County OPP at 1-888-310-1122 or Crime Stoppers at 1-800-222-TIPS (8477).
