Perth Fire Chief Bill Hunter says both the Milverton and Sebringville fire stations responded after the blaze broke out on West St. early Friday morning
Hunter says the house is a total loss and damage is estimated at $150,000.
No one was injured in the fire and Victim Services has been contacted.
The Ontario Fire Marshall's Office is assisting with an investigation to determine the origin and cause of the fire.
